What do I need to bring to class?

  • Driver’s License

  • 5 hour eCourse certificate of completion**

  • Waivers sent from coach through email

  • Riding gear (BRING BOTH DAYS)

  • Snacks/lunch and drinks (You will break for lunch)

Riding Gear Requirements -

  • Helmet - Full-face, 3/4 and half helmets are acceptable provided that they meet minimum DOT certification.

  • Eye protection - Face shield, goggles or some form of sun/eye glasses. They may be tinted or clear. Ordinary prescription glasses may be worn.

  • Over the ankle boots - MUST completely cover your ankle, have little to no heel and have a good rubber sole for traction. Thin fabric shoes made of canvas or other non-boot fabrics are not permissible. Shoes must cover and encase the ankle where the top of the shoe is above the ankle bone.

  • Long sleeve shirt or jacket that reaches the wrist.

  • Long denim pants or equivalent durability - All pants are required to have NO holes in them and must come down to the foot with no flare. Dress slacks, spandex, cotton leggings, and sweatpants are NOT permissible.

  • Full Finger Gloves - Must be full finger and cannot be open on the back of the hand or knuckles. Gloves must be motorcycle specific or sturdy leather or synthetic. (Dishwashing gloves and surgeon's gloves are NOT permissible)

  • Rain gear in case of weather (We teach rain or shine)

How many days is the class?

The 2-wheel class is a 2 day course from 8:30am-6:00pm (times may vary).

The 3-wheel class is a 2 day course from 8:30am-4:00pm (times may vary).

***You will need to complete the 5 hour eCourse classroom portion prior to your in-person riding class.***

Do I need to bring my own motorcycle?

No, a motorcycle will be provided for you for this course.

What if it’s raining the day of my class?

We teach RAIN OR SHINE. Please dress accordingly. (Bring rain gear)

Do I need to do anything at the DMV after I pass this class?

When you pass the class, you are emailed a 90-day waiver. Take this and your driver license to the DDS (Georgia Department of Driver Services) to obtain your motorcycle license. No further testing is needed at the DDS.

What if I let my 90-day waiver expire?

You will need to repurchase and retake the course to receive a new waiver.

What if I can’t make it to my scheduled class?

You MUST allow a 48 hour notice to reschedule by calling 770-865-8679. There are NO refunds. A motorcycle is reserved for you on a specific day and time.

What if I’m under the age of 18?

You must be at least 17 years old and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the beginning of the class to sign the waiver.

Policies

ATTENDANCE AND TARDINESS: Class will start promptly. Make sure you allow enough travel time to arrive at least 15 minutes before class.

RESULT IN DISMISSAL FROM CLASS WITH NO REFUND:

  • Tardiness or absence to any of the class sessions will result in dismissal from the course.

  • If you are dismissed by the coach for willfully not following the coach’s directions or abusing any provided equipment or motorcycles, unsafe riding that can result in injuries to yourself or others, consuming alcohol/medications before or during class time that can impair your judgment, carrying any weapons on the training grounds, deliberate acts or intentions to harm any students or coaches, using foul language will result in dismissal from the course.

  • If you fail the class will result in dismissal from the course.

  • If you do not wear the appropriate attire will result in dismissal from the course.

CLASS CANCELLATION: On-Road Riders, LLC reserves the right to cancel classes at any time. Refunds for the class will be issued if we are unable to provide the course.
